Japanese ink manufacturer SAKATA INX has announced a transition to a holding company structure through a company split, alongside executive personnel changes and updates to its articles of incorporation. The company has also been active on the sustainability front, with multiple subsidiaries earning EcoVadis medals across the UK, Spain, Indonesia, and the US, and the parent company receiving CDP's top 'Supplier Engagement Leader' rating. On the product side, SAKATA INX has developed a new thermal management material for batteries and installed Japan's first Direct Food Contact-compatible packaging equipment, reflecting its push into new business areas beyond traditional printing inks.
